Revalidation

For Qualified Cancer Exercise Specialists and CanRehab Physiotherapists.

Revalidation is a standard way of regularly confirming that you remain up to date and are continuing to practice safely within the CanRehab Cancer Exercise Evidence-based Guidelines. Revalidation must be undertaken every 3 years. To gain entry onto the CanRehab Trust Register you must have gained your Specialist Exercise Instructor in Cancer and Exercise qualification in last three year OR have a Valid Revalidation certificate. Professor Campbell has prepared a series of interactive teaching modules to assist you in revision for the CanRehab Revalidation Exam. These modules are:

Section 1: Cancer Biology & Cancer Survivorship
Section 2: Cancer Treatments, Relevant Side Effects & Key Practical Considerations
Section 3: Risk Stratification: Screening & Assessments
Section 4: Exercise Guidelines

Fully asynchronous online modules accessed on the CanRehab Education Platform. Access is for 90 days from the date of enrolment

On successful completion of the MCQ exam the candidate will be issued with a CanRehab Revalidation Certificate valid for three years from the date of issue. This certificate is ONLY VALID ALONGSIDE CANCER AND EXERCISE AWARD CERTIFICATE or CANREHAB PHYSIOTHERAPY CERTIFICATE.

Learning content is provided in interactive way, with formative tests throughout the materials.

You must have a Cancer and Exercise qualification (from either CanRehab or Wright Foundation) OR a CanRehab Physiotherapist Qualification. The Revalidation Course is available to anyone who has gained this qualification more than 3 years ago.

  • Timed MCQ Exam

A total of three attempts at this exam is allowed.

The course costs £75 and access is for 90 days from date of enrolment.
